Minister’s Message 11th November
It never ceases to amaze me how things from the past can come back to bring you joy and bring you pain. Browsing through photo albums, delightful pictures can take us back to times of celebration and silliness with such power that it’s almost like reliving those very moments.
Sadly this can happen with painful memories too. Old wounds open for whatever reason and have us revisiting times we would rather forget.
Psalm 23 : 4 says “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Remembering this scripture gives me comfort when painful memories re-emerge and brings me joy knowing that God is with me in those times. In joy and pain God is with us, and I hope this week you sense our Lord’s closeness.
In Christ
